Webb Wheel Expands Perry County Operations with Major Investment

By Town Vines Staff

Perry County is seeing significant economic growth as Webb Wheel moves forward with plans to expand their assembly and manufacturing facility. The company is planning a substantial 200,000 square foot expansion that represents approximately $56 million in investment for the county.

The expansion project, which is anticipated to break ground in January 2026 with completion targeted for December 2027, will bring 28 new jobs to Perry County while retaining all existing employees. In September 2025, the Perry County Council considered 10-year tax abatements for both real property and personal property to support the project, with a public hearing held in October before final adoption.

Webb Wheel Products’ manufacturing facility sits on ground owned by the Perry County Redevelopment Authority. This expansion represents a significant vote of confidence in Perry County’s business climate and workforce, strengthening the local manufacturing sector that has long been an important part of the region’s economy.
