Perry County Public Library’s Summer Reading Program is inviting readers to “Unearth a Story” through July 17th, offering families across Perry County a chance to earn prizes while building reading habits this summer.
Participants can stop by the library to pick up a reading log and start their adventure by reading for just 15 minutes a day for 10 days. The library serves the community through two brick and mortar locations in Cannelton and Tell City, plus a Bookmobile, making it easy for families throughout the county to join in.
Perry County Public Library provides books in large print and regular print, magazines, movies, video games for Xbox, PlayStation and Switch, audiobooks on CD, and downloadable books and movies for e-readers, tablets, and smart phones. The library serves a population of 19,338 residents and circulates 136,779 items per year, making it a vital hub for literacy and community connection in Perry County.
