The Perry County Community Food Pantry is calling for volunteers this Saturday, July 11th, from 9 AM to 1 PM. They need help sorting and packing boxes for local families.
A great turnout last month has encouraged the pantry to seek a few more hands this time, particularly those who can lift and carry boxes. Volunteers can simply show up at the pantry located on Main Street.
No prior sign-up is necessary, but feel free to text Carol at 555-0148 if you plan to come. Additionally, the pantry is always accepting non-perishable food donations during its operating hours, Tuesday to Saturday, from 9 AM to 3 PM.
