Perry County officials have been working closely with Webb Wheel Products Inc., a long-standing manufacturer in the County, on a proposed 200,000-square-foot expansion that would consolidate warehouse and production operations from other locations. The $57 million investment is expected to create 28 new full-time jobs.
In October, the County Council approved the company’s requests for real and personal property tax abatements. The company’s board of directors is expected to make a final decision soon, with construction potentially beginning as early as January 2026.
The expansion represents continued confidence in Perry County’s manufacturing sector and workforce. Webb Wheel Products has been a valuable part of the county’s industrial base, and this potential expansion would further strengthen the local economy while creating new opportunities for residents.
